Pink Stigma What That Pink Ribbon Stads For

Well the worst of all that has come of this is that my friends on a community site are treating me like a fool because of all of the medical issue I am having right now. I have a Inrtaductal Papilloma in my right breat and I am set for surgery on May 16th. I am more scared than I have ever been and at odds with my husband about the surgery too. I want a second opnion and he thinks it is best to trust the first doctor we went to see. I do not want surgery at all and this one is very very scary for me to even think about.
There are issuse about a Scarcoma that I will have to wait to learn aout and waiting for the tests is so very hard. I wish I had time to read study learn and understand all of what is going on so that I could make since to those who I have called my friends.
I thought that small close communities were just the place to seek support for this kind of an issue, but I was only ment with questions and shock. I feel left out in the cold, knowing that there is less support for me than I thought there would be.

If I were just to go on about my life and not tell them anything so that they just knew that I was feeling sick they would not have left me out in the cold. I put up those pink ribbons to comfort myself and they taught me about the pink stigma! All those stupid ribbons mean is that you want people to treat you diffrently because some doctor has said you have cancer or breast cancer. There should be a warning printed on the back so that everyone knows they are tools of pitty and riducule. I fyou put on such a ribbon thinking that people will know your having a hrd time some people will see it as a chance to come after you in your weakness and make you feel worse. If you place a pink ribbon where people can see it you can count on at least one person each day giving you bad advice and that will hurt your feelings.

Over all from here on out Breast Cancer or not you will not catch me sporting a stupid pink ribbon again. There is enought to fight with out being singled out a weak among other people.
