Travels With Children
Well we are home again from an 800 mile round trip. I took all of my children all by my self and we went where we needed to be!
It was great fun getting everything packed and great fun driving where we needed to be. I even enjoyed getting lost and finding my way to where we belonged!
We visited with a new friend of mine and had fun I do hope our next visit goes a little better though!
My good friend driving out from IL will travel part of the same road and now I know for sure that it will be an easy fun drive for her too!
My kids missed two days of school because of the trip but that is something we can make up the work for and just be left with our happy travel memories!
It is so nice to have real events to blog about and not just thoughts and feelings.
I felt in control as I drove my new car down the highway. The more miles behind us the more powerful I felt! The better things went the better I felt about myself. I did brag about traveling with all four kids by my self and I liked hearing how impressed people were. We all five had a great trip! In fact I would take all four of my children and travel that far or an even greater distance all by myself.
Kids grow so very fast, and in truth there is not much more time for such travels left.
Living life is much better than just thinking about it!
